About me

I am a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Board. Before that, I was a Research and Policy Advisor at the Bank of England where I also held positions as an Economist and a Senior Economist between 2015-2021.

I am a research affiliate at the CEPR, in the Monetary Economics and Fluctuations and Financial Economics programmes, and a research fellow at King’s College London. I was a guest lecturer at Bilkent University in 2020.

I completed my PhD in September 2016 at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics. I was a research scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a year between 2012-2013.

My research focuses on (non-linear) time series econometrics, Bayesian analysis, forecasting, VARs, factor models and (non-linear) panel data analysis with applications in macroeconomics and financial stability.
